Ion draws like Hurley

I've been tasked with drawing my agency's holiday card. The image depicts San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Austin, and London in a brown and orange cityscape. I decided I wanted to copy Anna Hurley's painfully cute drawing style. I threw up in my mouth a little as I was drawing this.

This was last night

I designed this poster to promote an event called "Lust, Lust, Lust!" in Oakland. I went and had such a good time that I've misplaced my phone. Sigh.

Just an update cause I finally have internet at my new apartment. This isn't really going to be a particularly interesting post beyond "Oh hey, I've moved". I'm basically typing here to fill space. 1 sentence posts just don't look attractive you know?

Packaging so awesome, Ima cry

This is student work and it's absolutely amazing. I'm quite jealous. Designed by Linna Xu, this Ilford 120 film packaging resembles a Twin Lens Reflex Camera from the 1800's.

Raccoon is good at drawing

Raccoon Nook is an awesome illustrator from Brooklyn. The mood of a lot of his work reminds me of some stuff I recall from Animatrix (better than every Matrix sequel combined).

KFC wins fight against health

This is a the Double Down sandwich by those connoisseurs of gastronomical goodness over at KFC. It's a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich which opts to not use those boring old things called "bread". "LAME!" KFC exclaimed at the thought of making yet another standard "bread" sandwich. The solution? 2 pieces of fried chicken. Consider yourself fat, America. I'm right there with ya.

A sunny picture for a rainy day

I love this drawing by Dean Trippe! So wonderful. Perfect way to start a morning after a previous evening's drinking has left me sore and tired.

Oh, and by the way, Easter is great

The main reason being the yearly arrival of Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs. As we all know, the equation goes as such: peanut butter egg > peanut butter cup. Why? PB eggs have more peanut butter. More creamy goodness! That can only mean this giant peanut butter egg is amazing. Although I am on a "diet" - I have made it a point to have at least 1 peanut butter egg this year.
