This was last night

I designed this poster to promote an event called "Lust, Lust, Lust!" in Oakland. I went and had such a good time that I've misplaced my phone. Sigh.

The Constant

Sorry dudes for the no blogs as of late. As some of you may know, I now work at WCG and have been rather busy as of late! No worries, I'm still here and doing quite well. Well enough to make stupid graphics like the one above. Enjoy!

Delicious chocolate branding

With all this branding going on these past couple of days, how about we check out how an awesome brand like TCHO comes together.

Another updated Tipsy Tags logo

Is it interesting reading about the development of a logo? Anyways. This is another version of a previously posted Tipsy Tags logo. Conceptually, I like it a great deal. I believe this version is closer to the idea the previous version was trying to convey of an image that represented both a wine glass and a wine bottle (upside down). This time, the "tag" actually sits underneath the icon representing both a hanging tag and a cork. Why didn't I think of that sooner?

UPDATED: Added yet another version of this logo with bigger text. Does it lose the allusion to the wine bottle?

More Tipsy Tag logo concepts

As expected, version 1 of the Tipsy Tag logo was not approved. So comes more versions. I feel these are both better visually and conceptually. I am actually quite fond of the second version. Its simple shapes could really lend themselves quite well to a lot of different applications.

Buy this shit

My design: pink.invader is now officially available at Infectious! Pick up your kinder, friendlier, and all around more pleasant Dark Lord for iPhone, iPod, Blackberry, and Laptop. DON'T SLEEP ON THIS.

Tipsy Tags logo concept

Still in development, so it may not end up like this. But I'm pretty happy with these current results. Feedback appreciated (unless it's mean feedback, then I'll just get all sad)

UPDATE: Added tagline

What's on the 4th?

These are logo comps for Infectious' recently launched monthly Free4All contest. We quickly went through three versions before finally settling on #3. To be quite honest, I'm more fond of the first two from a conceptual point of view (the 4 in the calendar representing "4" in Free4All seemed like a no brainer to me). Apparently though, the first two executions lead to people thinking February 4th had some kind of significance, which it obviously does not.

Not mad at the final version either. Just like the other versions, it easily lends itself to being constantly updated every month. Just change the month and the "pop" color and you're set. I can see the logo evolving in the next few months, but we'll see.

I have business cards. They're not ugly.

Due to the kindness of Anna Hurley, I now have Hello! Lucky printed business cards. Letterpressed wonderfulness. I am so grateful in fact, that I've avoided making any snarky comments. Yes, THAT GRATEFUL.

I made a stupid graphic today

Making dumb things in Photoshop is a gift of mine. This particular dumb thing was made for Infectious' Netbook launch today. Bow before our mighty laser cat overlords!

I hesitantly tagged this as "design". Opps?

Sarcastic graphic I made last night

Jordan, if you're reading this, you've officially ruined your Christmas surprise cause this is your present that shall be given to you in some physical form in the near future. I figured spoiling it would be ok considering how Christmas was nearly 2 weeks ago.
